Skutle disappointed by number of spectators

Officially there were 12.915 paying spectators against Viking. In reality, there were far from this number at Lerkendal. A lot of season ticket holders did not show up this rainy day.
DISAPPOINTED: Nils Skutle wants more spectators at Lerkendal.

Rosenborg has sold 9300 season tickets this year, and is thereby secured a nice number of spectators even if the stadium should be all empty.
"With our new electronical ticket control we can get the exact number of visitors. I do not have Sunday's numbers here and now, but anyway: The most important thing is the number of paying spectators," RBK Managing Director Nils Skutle says to rbkweb.com.
But even 13 000 is a lousy number against a big team like Viking.
"Yes, this is disappointing. I just cannot understand why there were so few at the Sunday match. Last year, for instance, there were 16 000 against Aalesund," the RBK Director ascertains.
RBK has budgeted with an average of 16 800 paying spectators this season. That could be difficult. After the first two matches, against popular teams like Brann and Viking, the average is at a mere 13 791.
"Firstly I'd like to say that our budget is not totally dependent upon the number of spectators. 16 800 is rather an ambition. But of course, it will be hard to reach this goal now. Tuesday (read: today) we will sit down and discuss what can be done."
Yes - what has gone wrong?
"Well... you tell me!? You can be sure that we will try to find out, though," Skutle ends.
