Will try to get Gamst in July

Earlier this winter, Rune Bratseth said that Morten Gamst Pedersen most likely would be a player Rosenborg wanted to get in the future, but after an impressing spring season by the Tromsø-player, the RBK Sports Director will try to fetch the 22-year old already this summer.
"We do see that Morten with his quality play does make himself more interesting for other clubs. Then we, too, want to give the signal that we are interested. We will definitely investigate the possibility of getting Morten," Bratseth says to Norwegian daily Bladet Tromsø.
Rune Bratseth confirms that one would like to agree upon a transfer as soon as this summer.
"No sums have been mentioned at all. What is clear is that the world is different now from some years back," the Sports Director states, that in 2000 was willing to give a total of EUR 3.9 million for Rune Lange, who instead chose to go to Turkish Trabzonspor.
We are waiting for the result in this affair... Tromsø coach Per Mathias Høgmo definitely wants to keep his wing talent:
"Personally, as a principle, I do not want to sell Morten to any Norwegian club. I think he should wait until he gets really good, and stable during a whole top league season, so good that he can go straight to an European top club," Høgmo states.
What is clear is that Rosenborg will get competition. The Premier League clubs Blackburn and Everton were among those that "scouted" Gamst Pedersen during the National side friendly against Russia last week.
