FFK will pay for Enerly?

Last winter, Rosenborg and Fredrikstad did not agree upon a transfer sum for Dagfinn Enerly, and FFK instead said they would maybe sign the 31-year old for free as a Bosman player when the season is over. But FFK needs to strengthen their team now, and may want to buy the left winger out anyway.
After the new transfer rules set by the Norwegian Football Assosciation NFF this winter, a player can at any time sign a contract with another club, valid from the date when the contract with the current club expires. Fredrikstad pondered about using this option to get Dagfinn Enerly.
"In principle we can, but we do not want a quarrel with Rosenborg," FFK Sports Director Harry Hansen said in January after the clubs did not agree upon a transfer sum.
But Fredrikstad has stayed passive. Now the club with the many ex-Rosenborgers (Knut Torbjørn Eggen, Steinar Sørlie, Tor Trondsen and Dag Frode Hornseth) signalizes that they want Enerly already this summer. This means one is willing to pay.
"We will be aggressive at the marked this summer, and we want both Dagfinn Enerly and Toni Kallio. In addition we are looking at several other players, but I do not wish to comment further names," Harry Hansen says to the club's home pages.
Dagfinn Enerly with family, for their part, wants to move back to the Southeast, while RBK has hesitated since the Oslo lad has been heavily struck by damages. This combination has lead to the situation where the player has not been offered a new contract.
