rbkweb.com earlier reported that Azar Karadas in his new contract with Rosenborg had added a clause that says he can cancel the agreement if he doesn't get enough playing time. This is not correct. He can however demand to be loaned out to another club.
The 22-year old was this winter in doubt wether he should prolong his contract with RBK, but after having been promised playing time, he signed a new agreement this February that runs until December 31st 2005. Tough, he got added a clause that says he can, if he so wishes, be loaned/leased to another club if he warms the bench at Lerkendal.
"There is nothing in the contract that says Azar can break the deal or leave for a small sum of money," cousin/advisor Jack Karadas says to Norwegian daily Bergensavisen.
Rosenborg Sports Director Rune Bratseth admits however that the forward can be leased out if he so demands:
"The clause says that he can be leased out. But he does not have an option to leave us cheap," Bratseth says.
Azar Karadas himself denies all rumours that he supposedly wants to leave Lerkendal.
