The 31-year old, who wants to move back to the Southeast, was not interested in prolonging his contract with RBK, and last week Enerly and Fredrikstad came to an agreement on a three year contract valid from 01.01.2005.
But now the transfer is accelerated. Rosenborg lets the right winger leave some months earlier - for a non-published transfer fee.
"The negotiations were hard, but we have agreed upon a transfer fee for Dagfinn," FFK Sports Head of Board Frode Kværneng says to the club's home pages.
"Dagfinn will join the squad within short to start training together with his new team mates, after having passed the mandatory medical test. He will be ready to play from July 1st," Kværneng says.
Dagfinn Enerly, whom Rosenborg bought from Moss for a total of EUR 1.2 million before Christmas in 2000, expresses thanks for his good years at Lerkendal:
"It will be strange to leave. I have after all been here for three years. It has given me much to be in RBK. I have experienced several leagueships during this time, and participated in the Champions League," the Oslo boy says to Rosenborg's homepages.
"I and the family has been clear on our plan to live in the county of Østfold when the RBK contract expired. Now, the move has been hasted, and I am thoroughly satisfied," ends Enerly, who will now be reunited with Knut Torbjørn Eggen (FFK coach) that he had as boss in Moss in the late 90s.
