Good time for Helstad
By Håvard Lindheim, 15 November 2004, 11:24

Thorstein Helstad saved RBK-points with his two goals.

A satisfied two-goal-scorer met rbkweb.com after tonight's battle. Even tough he felt that RBK should have won this game.

"It was great to get to play in the second half, and of course, nice to score those two goals. Even tough we managed only one point, it still can turn out to be an important one," was Helstad's comment after the game.

The settling goal on overtime was however just luck, he admits.

"Unbelieveable. I did miss the ball totally, but some way or the other, my other leg hits the ball. I had some luck there, I guess," Helstad describes.

The statistics showed that Rosenborg created a total of 20 chances during the match, and several asked themselves wether this could be a result of the new coaches at Lerkendal - after just two training sessions. Helstad has noted that some things have changed.

"Of course, it is vivaciousness and good humour that follows Eggen, with shouting and yelling and all that. At the same time, we do have practiced the offensive part, and especially getting players into the box - and we did succeed today," Helstad finishes.

Captain Erik Hoftun has also noted some differences, but commented to rbkweb.com as he passed that it might be pure chance that RBK created so many chances just today.
