Ødegaard for RBK

Tonight, Ødegaard decided that he'd accept the offer from Rosenborg. Hence, the talent is RBK's second signing before next season.
Tonight the parties were negotiating, and as morning came, it became clear that Ødegaard has signed a three-year contract with Rosenborg, RBK's web pages reports.
Rune Bratseth left for Sogndal last night to give Ødegaard a final briefing on what a transfer to RBK would lead to. The decision was taken only hours after this meeting. It is quite possible that Ødegaard might have taken a different choice if Bratseth hadn't went to Sogndal yesterday.
"It was decisive. In all things, the last ones to present their cause has an advantage. Brann had that, as he visited Bergen after he stayed with us. This leads me to think that the Sogndal trip was quite decisive," Bratseth says to Norwegian Internet daily Nettavisen.
Naturally, Bratseth was quite pleased with the Ødegaard deal.
"Ødegaard is perhaps the most exciting player in Norwegian football these days. Of course it is fun, then, when he chooses RBK. He is very fast, have two good feet, and can cover all the offensive spots," Bratseth tells rbk.no.
The transfer sum is supposedly somewhere around €1.2 million. Sogndal Sports Director Svein Bakke confirms to Norwegian daily VG that the agreement includes a clause covering a sale from RBK to another club.
