Trond “Rambo” Henriksen has over the last few years been coaching Rosenborg juniors. He will now be accompanied by an old team mate, Kåre "Brutter'n" Ingebrigtsen.

Ingebrigtsen starts his new job just after Christmas. The reason for RBK’s appointment of a new addition to the coaching team¸ is that Rune Skarsfjord from now on will be shifting focus towards the first team, at the same time as Jørn Jamtfall, previously with the juniors, now becomes full time coach for the goalkeepers of both Rosenborg and the national side.

Trond Henriksen will in the coming season be consentrating on the older junior players in 2nd division side RBK2, whilst Kåre Ingebrigtsen, who was also a possible candidate as assistant coach for Strindheim, receives the main responsibility for the youngest; 3rd division RBK3.

“Working with Trond will be great. We’ve been playing together in Rosenborg and besides, we’ve known eachother since we were six or seven years old, growing up in Utleira,” says “Brutter’n” to the official Rosenborg website.

In addition, Equipment Manager Harald Sunde, like this year, will make occasional contributions as coach for the juniors.

PS! As stated earlier, Rosenborg will not be fielding a team for the Trøndelag regional junior league in 2005. The only participation outside of the senior divisions will be in the junior national cup.
