The injuries in Rosenborg's middle defence continue piling up. Monday, Vidar Riseth was sent to hospital with a broken nose.
The accident happened in a duel during a training session in the Abra hall. The injury came at an unfortunate moment for Riseth, who had nearly recovered from his achilles operation before christmas.
The International is expected back some time next week, but still he'll join the team to Oslo on Friday and to La Manga on Saturday, local newspaper Trønder-Avisa writes.
At the moment, both Miika Koppinen and Erik Hoftun are injured. The first mentioned is expected back mid-February after a meniscus operation, while old captain Hoftun struggles with a bad back. The pains came when the soon 36 year old veteran defender bent over to tie his shoelaces(!).
Hoftun is expected back to Friday's friendly against Skeid.
