Russell's knee at the surgeon again

Robbie Russell had his knee operated before Christmas, and was expected back for full in January. But before the right back got a chance to test himself in battle, he was operated again prior to this weekend.
The American had his meniscus operated on 13 December, and was expected back as soon as January. That was not to happen.
Complications with the knee was discovered during the flight home to his Christmas holidays in the USA, and he more or less had to stay in bed. As a result, all schedules were changed, and not until the end of February the defender could participate on the training sessions.
Just as Robbie was on his way back to full shape, he unfortunately got another setback. This time, the doctors of the Rosenborg Medical Center chose to perform another operation, rbk.no writes [in Norwegian].
As a result, Robbie Russel was humping around on crutches when his team mates played against Tromsø in the Abra hall on Monday afternoon. He is expected back in late April.
