In front of the draw

Nearly all European leagues are now finished. Therefore the list of possible opponents in the Champions League qualifyers is almost completed.
 Because of quite a few surprises in the top leagues, Rosenborg will be seeded when they enter the 3rd qualifying round in August. In a "normal" season Rosenborg's 36.666 coefficient points have not been enough to seeding, so we should send warm greetings to everyone who have been helping us!
As usual the list of possible opponents is dominated by Eastern European clubs, but just because of the mentioned surprises around, Rosenborg might draw clubs like Everton, Real Betis and Udinese. The Swedish and Danish champions, Brøndby and Malmö FF, are also possibilities if they advance from the 2nd qualifying round. Last season's runners up Vålerenga are by the way not a possible draw, due to the UEFA rules.
Among the other possible oppoents we find last season's opponent Maccabi Haifa, Shakhtar Donetsk (Ukraine), Partizan Belgrade (Serbia) and Trabzonspor (Turkey), all a bit "tricky".
The two matches in the 3rd qualifying round to the Champions League are setted to be played 10th and 24th August. But the matches might be pushed forward to the Tuesdays before if RBK draw an opponent from a nation with several competing clubs and/or Vålerenga get through from the 2nd round.
The draw is made Friday 29th July.
PS! RBK are ranked as 15th of the 32 clubs in the 3rd qualifying round, and will therefore stay among the 16 seeded clubs even though UEFA give Liverpool a free spot.
