"Lars has told Tromsø he will not stay with the club the next season, but he has not decided where to continue his career. The choice is between two other Norwegian clubs," Hirschfeld's agent Patrick Mörk told in an interview with Nordlys.
The Swede did however not want to confirm that Rosenborg and Lillestrøm are the clubs involved:
"But I guess that is not far from the truth," he admitted.
Hirschfeld visited Trondheim this weekend, and had a meeting with the RBK management who might have been able to tempt him to move further south.
"The months at TIL in Tromsø have been the best of my soccer career thus far, leaving such a team and such a group of wonderful people is not easy. I have looked at all the pros and cons, over and over again, and I have, with great doubt, decided that the best thing for me at this moment is to change teams. I am thankful for having gotten the opportunity at TIL and I will always look back at the time spent in Tromsø with joy," Lars Hirschfeld told til.no.
