Rosenborg had given up hope to meet a Russian sparring partner before the Zenit games, but that was before rosenborg.info started working!

RBK had been given the message that no Russian teams would be present at La Manga during week 6. Instead, therefore, RBK had made an appointment with Spanish 2nd division club Ciudad Murcia.

Thursday two weeks ago, rosenborg.info noted Per-Mathias Høgmo that Lokomotiv Moskva should be present after all, and that the Russians even should play a friendly against Lillestrøm. Høgmo at once called Boye Skistad of the Norwegian Top Football NTF, and now things have been settled: RBK will meet Lokomotiv on 8 February, while LSK will meet Ciudad the next day.

And so, Rosenborg will meet a Russian opponent after all!
