Johnsen not to be sold - now

Frode Johnsen is in danger of wearing out the benches this season, but both the club and the player will wait and see before making any decision about the future.
"I have talked with Per-Mathias Høgmo today [Saturday] and he confirmed that I am a part of the plans. That is enough for me. I will fight for a place in the team, no matter who my competants are. I like it in Rosenborg," Johnsen tells southeastern Norway daily Varden.
Hence, there will be no more transfer talks for now. Rosenborg did, as is known, decline an offer from Sparta Praha in January, and among other clubs showing interest in the player we find the Norwegian top clubs Odd and Brann.
When sommer comes, the club will check the players' status again. Time will show wether Johnsen can outdo Thorstein Helstad, Steffen Iversen and Yssouf Kone.
