Brattbakk's RBK career to an end

Rosenborg finds that they no longer have the use for Harald Brattbakk, and the all-time top scorer in Norwegian football is taken out of the squad.
"Right now, I do of course have mixed feelings. I feel strong and in good physical shape, but at the same time I can understand the decision that is made," Brattbakk tells rbk.no.
The 35-year started an RBK game as late as the one against FC København Monday two weeks ago, but now Rosenborg will prefer to use the eight younger attackers in the squad. Brattbakk is under contract with RBK for the rest of the season, and the club will fulfill all economical obligations.
At the moment, the man with 166 goals in 255 top league matches does not know what the future will hold.
"I'll spend some time to figure out what I want to do now. Maybe I will want to find another club to play for, or maybe I will do something completely different. My contract expires after 2006, so I have plenty of time to consider," Harald Brattbakk says, being wanted by among others Bodø/Glimt.
Brattbakk did score a total of 256 goals in 347 mandatory games for Rosenborg since his debut in 1990, and hence he is the club's most scoring player throughout history.
