Alexander Tettey played from start when the U-21 international team lost 1-3 to England on Tuesday.
In other words, no result to throw a party for, but the midfield talent at least got praise from the coach after 73 minutes on the field, in the friendly game held in Reading, England.
"Tettey made his debut and did a very solid game. He was skilled with the ball, fast in his moves and had good passes," Norway coach Hallvar Thoresen tells The football assosciation's home page.
On a related note, Miika Koppinen made his comeback on the international team the same evening as Finland played 0-0 against Kazakhstan. The RBK player was on the field as a defender for the whole 90 minutes, in the friendly held at Cyprus.
