Rosenborg's no-injuries-period turned out to be a very short one.
WOUNDED KNEE: Strand had to give in early after a duel with Kristofer Hæstad.

During Easter's training sessions, Per-mathias Høgmo enjoyed a fully healthy squad. No-one were injured, which hadn't happened in a very long time. But that joy didn't last for many days. Four minutes it took, before Roar Strand landed hard and wrong after a duel with Kristofer Hæstad in the match agasint Start on Monday. A stretch on the inside of the left knee was the result.
The captain had to limp off the field far too early, in his top league game number 347. As one can imagine, not a very great celebration for the player who passed Ola By Rise, and now thrones on top of the list of players with most top league games played.
"I stretched some ligaments on the inside of the knee. When I landed, my foot was on the ball, and thus the weight made the knee bend in an awkward manner. It is likely that I will have to rest for 3-4 weeks," Strand says, not being especially sad about it being a record match for him.
"To leave the field with an injury always is bad. It isn't especially important for me that it happened in the very match where I set the record," Strand says.
Miika Koppinen had to leave the grass on a stretcher as well. This injury isn't as bad, however:
"I took a direct hit to the knee. We don't think that it's very serious, and I should be ready for next round's match against Vålerenga," Koppinen tells rosenborg.info.
