Essediri testing shape before World Cup
By Endre Bakken, 3 June 2006, 23:55

Karim Essediri was in the starting eleven when Tunis put the final touch on their World Cup preparations Friday.

The test at home against Uruguay ended 0-0, but the RBK winger was very close to scoring a goal with a good shot just before half time.

Essediri was taken off the pitch after 85 minutes. Wednesday he came in and played the last fifteen minutes when Belarus were beaten 3-0.

Tunisia opens the World Cup against Saudi-Arabia in Munich Wednesday the 14 of June.

And just so you know: Neither Lago nor Eguren played for Uruguay.
