Frode Johnsen signed for Nagoya Grampus Eight this morning, and was in the spotlight both before and after the match. But two other people got attention on the pitch: Alexander Tettey played another great match on the midfield, while Yssouf Kone was in the starting line-up for the first time.
The play in the first half was very tame, much due to a very defensive away-team. Some tactical changes made during half-time improved the game.
"We got more width into our play, while the defence and midfield stood further out on the pitch. Miika and Jan Gunnar came in as substitutes, and did a good job. We got more movement, and ran more than Fredrikstad," coach Per-Mathias Høgmo told.
But like this year's earlier home matches RBK were not efficient. Eventually Mikael Dorsin saved the day, when the Fredrikstad defence let him head Øyvind Storflor's free kick into the goal. The matchwinner will get to clebrate his victory for a long time, since he is out the next match against Start because of yellow cards.
But a victory is still a victory, and Lillestrøm on the second place are only one mere point ahead. At the same time it felt good to revenge last year's two losses against Fredrikstad.
PS! Miika Koppinen made a comeback after his meniscus-operation this May.
