Berg retires

Ørjan Berg's career is probably over.
The 38-year old had his left ancle operated last October. The medics offered him a 50 percent chance to fully recover, and he had to yield after just a fiew games.
"I have a cartilage injury in the ancle. My foot is in such a state that I can neither join training nor play games," Ørjan Berg tells rosenborg.info.
However, the final decision is not made.
"I am out for the year and won't be playing any more games this season. After that, we'll sit down and find out what to do."
Still, he takes his family and moves back home, north to Bodø, this weekend.
"We'll move north, but I'll be up and down to Trondheim a bit. For the time being I am after all a Rosenborg player," the midfield veteran - contract expiring end 2007 - states.
The chance to see Berg put on the RBK shirt again is slim.
"My career isn't over as today, but it is not sad if I have to end here. I have had many fine moments on the field," Ørjan Berg ends.
