The reason why it took so long to complete this transfer, is that Ruzumberok didn't want to sell their captain before they were out of the Champions League. That happened last night, as the double masters lost for CSKA Moskva in the 3rd qualifying stage. 0-5 was the combined end result.
The two clubs have reached agreement upon a transfer deal worth about €1.25 million. What remains is Marek Sapara finishing a medical test, and agreeing upon his personal terms. Both are supposed to be formalities.
