The Rosenborg coach has been on a sickness leave since the 27th of July, but is now healthy.
"Per-Mathias has been relaxing, reloaded his batteries, and will do well. He has told me he feels in great shape. He is looking forward to returning to his job," RBK-doctor Torbjørn Grøntvedt told Adressa.
Meanwhile Knut Tørum has led the team to six wins in a row in the league. The last weeks rumors had it that Høgmo would extend his sickness leave till the end of the season, but now the assistant coach has to go back to his old position.
"I have shown that I'm capable of doing this job, but I came to Trondheim to assist Per-Mathias and see no problems in working for him again," Tørum told rosenborg.info.
He gives Høgmo credit for RBK being in a position to snap the gold.
"Much has happened at Lerkendal since he arrived last fall. The facilities for the team has improved much. Now we have a test lab and a bigger coaching staff. Therefore it was sad that we didn't get to show ourselves from our best side this spring," Tørum concluded.
