The player from Uruguay grabbed hold of a place on the team immediately, and has added many good things to the Stockholm side:
"His attitude, his way to show that he wants to win, the long runs and the passes. In addition, he is skillful in the air and dangerous in setpiece situations," coach Anders Linderoth praises to Swedish daily Svenska Dagbladet.
As a result, Hammarby wants to use the option to buy that followed the loan deal in July.
"The deal with Roseborg is clear, but it remains to make a final decision and then to agree with the player," Sports director Thomas Andersson says.
Alejandro Lago plays regularily for IFK Göteborg. The central defender has varied some in his gameplay during the loan period, and it remains to see wether "Blue-White" will use their option to buy.
Both Eguren and Lago are tied to RBK with contracts expiring after 2008.
