Sapara sank Bulgaria

Marek Sapara scored his first international goal when Slovakia won comfortbaly 3-1 against Bulgaria last night.
The RBK player was the man behind the 2-0 goal just after the break in the friendly international game. He got the ball just outside the 16, passed five men before sending the ball into the net: see movie clip.
Sapara, in spite of great performances in league games both in Slovakia and Norway, has struggled to establish himself on the Slovakian international team. He made his debut against Estonia last fall, and still has got only four games with the flag on his chest.
Hopefully he will get more chances now, as Jan Kocian has taken over as head of the international team after Dusan Galis pulled out in October. Last night Sapara played from start as central midfielder in a 4-4-2 formation, and was replaced after 74 minutes.
In Marseille, Yssouf Kone was an unused sub when Burkina Faso beat Algerie 2 to 1, while Steffen Iversen, Vidar Riseth and Jan Gunnar Solli all played when Norway held Serbia to a draw, 1-1.
