A few days ago, Karim Essediri was ready for Lillestrøm. The right winger has signed for three years.
"Lillestrøm is a large club who thinks big. They have a very competent team of coaches, and I am certain that this is a right step in my career," Essediri tells Norwegian football site Fotballmagasinet.no.
The transfer sum is not published, but it is expected that Rosenborg gets back most of the €240,000 they payed Tromsø a year back.
In spite of a very good and promising start, it was to be a short and failed RBK career for the Tunisian international. He played eight league games, three cup games and six Royal League games with no goals scored.
"I find it strange that I didn't get to play more, because I feel that I deserved that. But the coaches decide, and hopefully they think different in Lillestrøm," Karim Essediri ends.
