Everybody thought Steffen Iversen was leaving for Genk, when the good news came: The Norway striker stays at Lerkendal.
He has even extended his contract for two more years - including the 2010 season.
"Steffen wants to continue in Rosenborg. The known surroundings, contentment and family were decisive. On the pitch things have been so good in Rosenborg, that he don't want to gamble on something new," Iversen's counsellor Christian Eidem tells NRK.
With that Iversen rejects millions of Euro in Belgium.
"He could have earn more abroad. But now he will end finish his career in Rosenborg," Eidem ends.
