Today Knut Tørum finally signed his contract, and was officially promoted from assistant to head coach.
The man from Bergen has been the de-facto head coach since July, and was chosen to be Per-Mathias Høgmo's permanent replacement in November. Still, it took two months to come to an agreement about his personal contract.
Friday Tørum signed a contract expiring the end of the 2009 season, Rosenborg's official website reported.
"I hope me and the family will get to stay for a long time in Trøndelag. There is still a long way to go for us, Rosenborg."
"The most important thing to me is to be able to help with what I came here to do, that is, get Rosenborg back to where they are supposed to be, and have been. It is a demanding task, which will take some time. But we had a good season this year and have taken important steps. We look a bit more like the team we want to be," Knut Tørum earlier told rosenborg.info.
Trond Henriksen and Jørn Jamtfall will continue as assistant and keeper coaches, respectively.
