The technician from Albania was released by Rosenborg a month ago, but didn't need long time to find himself a new employer.
After having trained with Olympiakos' reserves for some weeks, he Thursday signed a contract expiring summer 2012, Greek daily Champion reports.
Originally, the Athens champions were supposedly not overly interested, but after Hyka joined Albania's national squad in January, the interest from other clubs like Skoda Canthi and Partizan Tiranon got to such a level that Olympiakos chose to offer the talent a contract.
As the transfer window closed before the contract was signed, it is not clear wether Jahmir Hyka will be able to play for the club before July 1st.
