"Needs a chance to develop"

Alexander Tettey played well as central midfielder once again, and will finally get what he wants: a chance to grow in that position.
"It is a position where you need to get a chance to develop. You have to be allowed to make mistakes. Alternating between playing central and side midfielder is not optimal for my development," Tettey said.
Knut Tørum will give Tettey that opportunity.
"I'm going to listen to his advice. He has everything you need to succeed as central midfielder. In addition he is in great shape these days, something which is important when trying to master new positions," the Rosenborg coach revealed.
He thinks Tettey makes his teammates play better.
"It looks like the team is coming together with Tettey in the middle. We get both the backs and midfielders further up on the pitch. There was a great change from last time. Take one example: Roar Strand is good at passing to teammates in the box. Now that he is freed from his central position he is able to do that again," Tørum concluded.
Against Start Tettey stopped attacks from the opposing team, while playing well offensively himself. One long shot went wide by a couple of millimeters.
"I did well in both ends of the pitch. I felt I could really let loose," he explained.
