Rosenborg hope to qualify for the UEFA Cup by winning the Intertoto Cup this summer, but it might get tough.

The draw takes place 21 April. The 50 nations will be placed in different regions. The expected Nordic group:

1st round:

Unseeded:

Faroe Islands (HB Torshavn)

2nd round:

Scotland
Norway (Rosenborg)
Denmark
Sweden (Elfsborg)

3rd round:

Seeded:
England
Netherlands
Scotland

Rosenborg's opponent in the 3rd and final round will in other words be the participant from one of the three latter nations.

Norway is still able to get one of three fair play spots in the UEFA Cup. As the most fair team last season, Rosenborg will be given the possible prize.
