Prica close to Rosenborg move

Sunderland and Rosenborg are said to be close to agreement on a transfer of Rade Prica.

According to Norwegian TV2 Sunderland have asked for 600,000 euros. Rosenborg initially wanted a loan deal with a buy option, and the final solution is yet unknown.
Prica arrived in England last January as Denmark's top scorer but the £2m signing has played only six games - all as a substitute. His last game was at Chelsea in March last year.
"All footballers are in the game to play football and it's a mistake to sit around at a club for a long period of time if you're not getting first-team football. "Ultimately it can harm your long-term career if you spend a prolonged amount of time on the sidelines," Sunderland boss Ricky Sbragia told Sunderland Echo.
Erik Hamrén and Rade Prica are acquaintances from Danish club Aalborg.
