Rosenborg and the Swedish Football Federation (SvFF) today agreed on allowing Erik Hamrén to become Sweden coach on full time from 1 June, three months earlier than originally settled.

Rosenborg are close to signing Jan Jönsson as permanent replacement for Hamrén, but Jönsson is set to stay at Stabæk the full season.

Meanwhile Nils Arne Eggen is hired as interim coach until December. The club legend retired in 2002 after 14 league titles (one with Moss), but now the 68-year old wants to help Rosenborg securing another championship.

Good choice IMO, Henriksen is not ready I don't think to take the job right?

6 months gives the time for the club to find a long term replacement for Hamren. Who should that be though?
