Championship Manager 03/04

Do any of my fellow RBK supporters play CM? I was wondering if anyone has had difficulty winning titles as Rosenborg? The only positive I've had is when I purchased Braaten a few weeks into the start of the season 03/04 he scored 32 goals in 35 games (all compeitions) for me. He single handedly got me to the QF of the CL before we fell 3-1 on agg. to Chelsea. Anyone out there play? After a season in it appears that Solli, Karadas, E. Johnsen, Winsnes and even Strand (who I lost to AS Roma) become targets of other clubs. I even lost Storflor!

I have won the Norwegian league 7 times in a row with Rosenborg, and in the 6th season i won the champions League. I absolutely LOVE Championship Manager and i can't wait until CM5 and FM 2005 hits the streets.
I dont play cm03/04 much anymore though because off the inaccurate player stats and so on.

I haven't had as much success as I probably should maybe I show too much loyalty to the current squad. I finished 3rd my first season but the following 4 seasons I managed 3 firsts and a second with a UEFA runner-up and 2 CL QF! Braaten though becomes a real star in my game. I also can't wait till the new Football Manager and CM5 come out!!!

Braaten is a star in the game. Ypu should also take a look at players like Evandro Roncato and Nene who originally plays for Paulista but are on loan to some club.

Wes Morgan
Michael Dawson
Cherno Samba
Julius Aghahowa

Wes Morgan and Michael Dawson both plays at Nottingham Forest. Cherno Samba is a youngster from Millwall and Julius Aghahowa plays for Shaktar.

Was there any problems attracting English footballers to Norway?

Well Cherno Smaba and Wes Morgan are relatively unknown and unpolished in the beginning so they are not a problem if you buy them in the first season or the next. Michael Dawson was a problem though but Liverpool bought him but put him in the reserve squad. So that and the fact that RBK was getting pretty well known, because of sucess in the CL, where the key factor for me getting him in my fifth season.

Super! Thank you! I will look into these players. I tend to stick with the current squad and only purchase players that RBK does in real life...I think that maybe my problem as to why I haven't had great success with the club.
