Youssef Kone of Olympique Club de Safi is on trial at Rosenborg this week.

"He seems like a very promising player. He has good pace, good physique and good technical skills. Now we have to see what we conclude after some days' training," Rosenborg coach Per-Mathias Høgmo says.

Youssef Kone and Rosenborg has agreed upon a three year contract. The International forward from Burkina Faso signed yesterday.

There seems to be some problems with Kone's transfer. Rosenborg are still waiting for the right papers from the football federation of Burkina Faso. Therefore Kone might not be eligible to play in the UEFA Cup. We just have to wait and see what happens...
