Rosenborg coach Ola By Rise would not comment a possible transfer for Bengt Sæternes coming summer.


On a direct question from rbkweb.com about the reality in the rumours of RBK's interest for Bengt Sæternes, and vice versa, By Rise says little of a definite nature.

"We will always be looking for good football players in Rosenborg, but at the same time it is not always that the club starts such things..."

In this way By Rise more or less confirms that Sæternes first contacted RBK, and that RBK initially had not counted Sæternes as a possible transfer object, especially in light of how things went the last time RBK and Sæternes had talks.

When asked to elaborate, By Rise said:

"I don't want to give comments to each and every rumour and speculation, that would be too tiresome."

Still, he confirms that RBK has an ongoing process of considering different players to strengthen the team coming summer.

"We look for many factors in several players. What types of persons they are, their performances, injuries, speed and other things. There is a list of players we would like to sign this summer, but that list could change fast - some player we want one day might suddenly not be interesting the next. Therefore it would just be silly if we should comment it all the time," Ola By Rise says to rbkweb.com.
