Another 1-1 for Ljungberg.
By Håvard Lindheim, 30 September 2004, 11:26

Fredrik Ljungberg couldn't beat Rosenborg this time either.

Last time the Swedish star tried, was as Halmstad player in a friendly match in spring 1998.

"I guess it was 1-1 that time as well," Ljungberg smiled.

Swedish journalists ment that the midfielder scored with his first touch on the ball when he made 1-0 after six minutes.

"The first touch it probably wasn't, but it was great anyway."

Ljungberg was impressed by Rosenborg yesterday.

"As I said at the press conference, they were good against Panathinaikos. Today they proved yet again to be a good team. It is never easy to play away matches in the Champions League, and 1-1 was a fair result for us in that aspect," the Swede, who duelled against a fellow Swede, felt.

"Micke (Dorsin) was good. He has had a fine season after coming to Rosenborg, and all in all he is a very skillful player."

He didn't take you too hard?

"Right, he knows that we have a match for Sweden's national team soon," Fredrik Ljungberg smiled.

PS! Dorsin thanked for the nice words, but stated: It was a really shitty goal!
