Rosenborg's strikers have had problems scoring goals when the team has needed it the most. Now the club is searching for someone to challenge Helstad and Johnsen in the role of central striker.

"We are always looking for players to improve all the parts of the team, but in front of the next season we are mainly looking for midfielders and attackers," Rune Bratseth tells Trønder-Avisa, a local newspaper.

Steffen iversen is available on the market at the moment, but there are no plans to bring back the former Rosenborg striker.

"No, no we are not considering that at all," Bratseth reveals, adding:

"He is not very highly thougth of around here anymore, is he?"

Instead Ali Gerba (GIF Sundsvall) and Olivier Occean (Odd Grenland) might be amongst the attackers considered.
