Russell might play against Molde

There is a great chance that Robbie Russell will play the match against Molde on Sunday.
The American right-back has been injured for the last one and a half years. After having played well in the debut in the fall of the season of 2004, he had to get meniscus surgery around Christmas time. The operation was a failure, and he had to go through several operations afterwards and then a retraining period.
Therefore he only got to play two games for the first team in 2005: the cup-match against Orkla and home against Ham-kam in the league. The 27 year old finally recovered in March this year, and got to play several friendly matches before the league began. On Monday he was RBK2's best player in the game against Skeid.
Now chanses are great that he is going to get to play against Molde. Miika Koppinen and Bjørn Tore Kvarme are still struggling with their knee injuries. That means that Christer Basma will play mid-defender together with Riseth.
Therefore Robbie Russell will get to play right back, or Dorsin will play there instead and Ståle Stensaas will take Dorsin's place. The last alternative has been tried without much luck and it all suggests that Russell will get the chance to prove he is back.
"Robbie is considered, like all the other players. Both he and Stensaas did well against Skeid. Both are good alternatives," a secretive Trond Henriksen told Adressa.
