Super-debut by Sapara

Marek Sapara played on the side for the very first time, but who was able to notice?
SANDEFJORD (rosenborg.info): The 24-year-old is the most expensive foreigner to ever have played in the Norwegian league, and the expectations are great. Tonight he started "repaying" with some excellent play.
"He proved that he understands the game well, both with and without the ball, and played really well. The only thing that lacked was a goal - and he was close to getting one in both halves," Knut Tørum told rosenborg.info.
"Are you surprised by how well he played?"
"No, but I'm very happy that he was able to do as well as he did."
Sapara was bought as a central midfielder, but today he had to play on the side. He more than passed the test.
"You are very concerned with these roles, but first we have to get to know him better. He showed that he, like Strand, Tettey and Skjelbred is able to do clever runs, but he also showed that he is good at passing the ball. When it comes to skills, he has plenty. It's promising," Knut Tørum concluded.
