A smiling Marek Sapara met rosenborg.info after the victory against Tromsø. A match where Rosenborg struggled hard to score.
"Tromsø were good at defending, and at times it was hard to break through their defensive wall. But it opened up eventually," Sapara tells.
Better late than never, and almost five minutes into injury time, the winning goal was a fact.
"Enormously relieving and very deserved! We were the better team, with good margins at that," Sapara states, being impressed by the Lerkendal spectators.
"The spectators here are just great. A huge difference from my previous club, which had a couple of thousand viewers on the matches. They were good too, but it is something else with this high numbers attending the games," Marek Sapara praises. He was a positive factor to the good atmosphere himself, with good gameplay and two shots who were crucial in the two goals Rosenborg scored.
The player himself, though, do not wish to evaluate himself after the match.
"Hehe, I guess it went ok, but you will have to ask the coach," Marek Sapara smiles to rosenborg.info.
Roar Strand was also a very pleased man after today's fight.
"We aquired three important points today, but it is still a long way to go and much can happen. But we have a nice record of seven wins in a row now, so we'll just have to stand on it," a pleased captain managed to tell before the autograph hunters bore down on him.
