We're 2-1 down at Arasen and i have to say, defensively we are pretty awful.

...as we have been all year. Im looking forward to the 2-3(4?) new faces we will see in the defensive line next season. Hopefully we will attract some quality, opposed to the piss poor ones that are already here.

4-1 down, should have been more. Basma is all over the place but it's unfair to pick on only him, poor performances all round. (Not to mention a pathetic 2nd penalty from Kone.)

It could have been worse!

With this team, we are a long way off winning the league again. I suppose we could look to Rosler's Viking, he's getting the best out of average players there.

Where we NEED to look, is to Gent in Belgium, and Trond Sollied. But he will most likely be signed by Vålerengen, and Tørum will have full confidence for the rest of his term. Altho it'll be cut short when the relegation to Adeccoligaen is a fact in late September 2008.

Helstad scored 4 goals tonight again (18 in total). It seems that Helstad/Solli are coming back to haunt us a bit, they have been key players for them this season.

Anyway, good start for Henriksen but it means little at this stage. Our gull presentation from last year seems so long ago now.

Actually, he had 18 goals before todays game. Now he he has scored 22 this season.

I am impressed by the performances of Stoor, Nordvik and Traore in defence yesterday. Aalesund did not stress them too much, but these three should get the time to establish themselves next year.

Marek Sapara was fouled throughout the whole game, but AaFK's players were unable to prevent him from scoring the winning goal, thereby securing the victory and a possible spot in next year's Intertoto cup.
